After a long week at the office, I need some time to decompress. One of my favorite activities to do this is hiking, especially with a great group of friends. Walking side by side or one after the other, I like exploring the new surroundings, invigorated by the people I'm with or by the daunting adventure of scaling a new peak or finding the waterfall at the end of the hike. It is in these times of physical strain that I can take myself out of the office mindset and start thinking about the bigger picture or answering the question of what do I want to do with my life or most importantly what do I want to eat after this.
